DMUC Agenda Topic Suggestions
ASDWA and EPA would like your help in shaping the agenda for the Fall 2020 Data Management Users Conference (DMUC).
Below you can enter topic ideas for consideration. Provide enough information so the planners can understand how to build a session around your idea. If you are willing to help present a topic (such as sharing a state developed tool) please indicate that as well - we always encourage states and EPA regions to share any tools, guidance, or best practices they've developed. Don't feel limited to traditional presentation topics - we're also interested in training ideas you might have.
As you start to enter an idea below, the system will search through submissions and you will be prompted to vote for an existing topic if it has already been submitted. In addition to submitting new ideas, please review the list of topics that have already been submitted to vote in support and offer comments to refine the idea. The more community-wide input we get on these topics the better the conference will be.

Preparing for Prime...now
There are activities that primacy agencies can be taking now to better situate themselves for a future transition to Prime, like cleaning up data sets or taking a comprehensive inventory of interfacing applications and their specific data consumption requirements [to direct prioritized development of external APIs].

This session would be a general overview of the project to date - known issues and status of resolution - state/current user experiences and lessons learned - where to get information/support - future development plans - open discussion.

State plans or experience with repointing IAs from their legacy database to an LRDR.

States Only Working Lunch
We're planning to hold a states-only working lunch session to gather feedback from states. Discussion may inform topics for an open/parking lot discussion with EPA later in the day, or to simply collect outstanding state concerns for discussion.

Community Engagement
The SDWIS Community requested access to the Prime software for review and testing. ASDWA and EPA worked out a process to allow for community-wide review of the software with feedback managed through ASDWA's UserVoice forum. How has this process worked? Are there ways we can improve the process to encourage greater participation?
